How skin tag removal works
Skin tags are treated by advanced electrolysis. A sterile probe is placed against the narrow stalk at the base of the tag and delivers a small, controlled current. That closes the tiny blood vessels supplying it, so the tag is cut off from its blood supply rather than cut off with a blade.
Each tag takes a matter of seconds. A small scab forms and separates on its own over the following one to two weeks, leaving flat skin behind. Several tags are usually treated in the same appointment.

Skin tags are very common and completely harmless. They form where skin folds, creases or rubs.

When to see your GP first
